Welcome to the Charlotte Campus of Edison State College, where we maintain an unwavering dedication to enhance higher education’s role in the community and provide students with a rich, vibrant, innovative and affordable academic experience.
I invite you to visit us in person for a tour of our beautiful campus nestled within 175 acres of natural beauty. You can also explore our Web site to see the excellence that we offer.
Edison State has a strong heritage of preparing the next generation of thinkers, innovators and entrepreneurs through a vibrant learning community dedicated to diversity. We take pride in providing our students with a future of endless opportunity and it is with a profound sense of stewardship that I oversee the Charlotte Campus..
The virtuous traits that Charlotte County has come to expect from ESC will soar to new heights this year. The Charlotte Campus recently became the first public college or university campus in Florida to adopt a tobacco-free policy in an effort to create a healthier learning environment for our students. We also have begun offering bachelor’s degrees, the beginning of what promises to become a vast array of baccalaureate opportunities available on campus.
This academic year also signifies the opening of Edison Collegiate High School, Southwest Florida’s first collegiate high school. Students of Charlotte County’s only charter school will experience the collegiate atmosphere with the opportunity to earn both a diploma and associate’s degree.
As you can see, it’s an exciting time to be a part of ESC Charlotte Campus. I take immense pride in being part of a community that is talented, dedicated and caring. I know you will, too.
