Go Higher-Get Accepted
Date & Time: Monday, February 20, 2012 from 10:00am to 2:00pm
For: High School Seniors
Location: Bell Tower
The Go Higher-Get Accepted Program is targeted at high school seniors who apply to Edison that day and have their $30 application fee waived. Students will be able to participate in workshops on Finding Cash for College and Choosing a College Major. They will also be able to meet faculty members and advisors and take a campus tour. Food and other entertainment will be available.

Event: Campus Tour
Date & Time: Campus tours are available by appointment on the first Wednesday of every month at 4:00pm and the first Thursday of every month at 10:00am.
Location: Spatz Hall, Building J
Description: Part of selecting a college is experiencing what the campus looks like, what it feels like: seeing firsthand how students interact with each other, learning about available services, meeting faculty and staff, and asking questions. Prospective students and their guests are invited to experience the Charlotte Campus of Edison State College by attending a campus tour and information session. Campus tours are available by appointment the first Wednesday of every month at 4:00pm and the first Thursday of every month at 10:00am. Campus tours begin in the Spatz Hall, Building J and last approximately ½ hour.

Description: A great resume can be the ticket to getting the job you want! Learn how to write a resume that communicates your skills honestly and powerfully. Learn how to focus on what employers want.
Bring in your rough draft or just come in to get information to get you started. With a little hard work and some help you will have a resume you can use as a marketing tool to showcase your job-related experience and talents. |

Description: Are you “undecided” about your major? Edison State College has assessments that can help you find a major that fits your interests and personality.
Also, if you know your major but are unsure of what you can do with it, Career Services, within the Academic Success Center, can help you find possible career options in your interest area.
