New Student Orientation provides an overview of Edison State College as well as the advising, registration, and financial aid processes. It also provides information on student activities and the Academic Success Center. All students are encouraged to attend orientation in order to ensure a smooth transition into college life and to gain knowledge vital to academic and social success. Knowledgeable professionals are present to provide pertinent information and answer questions.
Orientation is mandatory for all degree seeking students. You should register for orientation after you have completed the the Florida College Level Entry Placement Test (FCLEPT) or provided minimum ACT or SAT scores. The approximate duration of orientation is 3 hours. All orientations begin the Auditorium lobby.
