Lesson Planning maximizes the amount of engaged academic learning time of your students.  Not every school district follows the same format for lesson planning, but below are links to some of the best lesson planning resources currently available on the web:

Florida Sunshine State Standards - lists each content area standards to assist you with your lesson planning

Lesson Plans Page - offers lesson plans, activities and handouts for each content area, also lists seasonal lesson plans.

PBS Teacher Source - offers lesson plans and activities for each grade level and content area.

Beacon Learning Center - lists peer reviewed lesson plans by learning level. 

Education World - useful ideas for lesson planning including tips and tools for incorporating holidays and celebrations into content area lesson plans.

Educator’s Desk Reference - this site has links to various lesson plans in many content areas.  Also has a searchable database of lesson plans.

Teachers.net - this site has a comprehensive bank of lesson plans for all content areas.

Living Science– provides helpful and current information on science topics ranging from biology to physics.  Also includes ways to integrate math into science lessons.

BRIDGE– Sea Grant Ocean Sciences Education Center lists creative science lesson plans

National Center for History in the Schools - provides current research and grant information to enhance your history lesson planning.

Math Fact Café – provides printable games and activities to accompany your math lesson plans.
