Financial Aid Award Status

Overview

The following steps will help assist you in understand the steps necessary for obtaining financial aid assistance:

 

1. Login to portal and click on the "Student Services" tab.

2. Click on Financial Aid Online in the Online Student Records section located at the bottom left.

    Step 1

3. Select the CURRENT aid year via the drop down arrow, THEN click submit

    Select Year

     

4. Click on the Award Overview link, scroll down to check your status

5. Your award information will be displayed in the lower left corner.
       Pay close attention to the Staus box by each award.

Award

Status
Meaning
Accepted
 Award/Loan has been accepted and will be applied towards tuition and/or books
Awarded

Award has been verified for student, but may not have been received by the college at this time. Student should not be dropped from classes and should be able to purchase books provided they have signed and turned in the Award Response Form.

Not Accepted
 Award/Loan has been not been accepted and will not be applied towards tuition and/or books
