D. "Duke" DiPofi, D.Min. (ABD)
Coordinator of Academic Services
Denton "Duke" DiPofi has been employed by Edison State College as a Professor of Religious Studies since August 2007. Graduating from Flagler College (B.A., 1989) and Trinity International University (M.A.R., 2004), he brings with him over ten years experience in public education at both the primary and secondary levels. He is scheduled to defend his doctoral dissertation this coming January at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, where he concentrated his research in Collegiate Christian Education and Church Renewal.
Professor DiPofi presides over the Hendry/Glades Center’s Academic Department. He is responsible for the recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluation of faculty members, works as a liaison between the Campus and District Deans of Instruction and faculty in providing leadership and implementing College and Campus-wide academic policies and procedures.

Arenthia Herren
Learning Resources Faculty/ Librarian
Professor Arenthia Herren was hired in September 2011 as the first full time faculty librarian at the Hendry Glades Center.
Professor Herren grew up in the Athens, Georgia area and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Georgia in 2003. After completing her undergraduate education, she earned a Master of Arts degree in Art History from Florida State University in 2007. She then in enrolled in the Library and Information Science program at FSU with a focus in Academic Librarianship and graduated in December of 2010.
Prior to working at Edison State College, Professor Herren taught Humanities at Chipola College in Marianna, Florida.

Amanda Lehrian
Professor, English Language and Literature Professor Lehrian is a full time faculty member at Hendry Glades where she teaches courses in rhetoric, composition, and literature. She is also an advisor of the Hendry Glades GSA student club. Previously, she has worked for Hendry county as an instructor of English at Clewiston High School, where she also served as Department Head, FCAT Coordinator, and College Board Liaison. Prior to living in Florida, Professor Lehrian taught courses in rhetoric and composition for Pennsylvania State University. |

Sandra Seifert
Professor, Mathematics
Professor Sandra Seifert, originally from the island of Jamaica, has been employed at Edison College since July 2009. She earned an Associate in Arts in Computer Science from Miami-Dade College in 1986, a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Florida International University in 1989, and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University in 1995.
She has worked as a system engineer and computer programmer for 15 years, as well as an Adjunct Mathematics Professor for Broward College for 10 years, before joining the Edison community.
Mathematics is a passion of hers and she has been known to call math problems "tasty" and "scrumptious". Another passion is to get students beyond the dread and anxiety of mathematics and see the beauty of it, as a subject that is learnable and enjoyable, something she calls "mathusiasm".
She currently teaches Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Liberal Arts Math, and Statistics. |
