Unit 5:Search Tools: The Online Catalog
Lesson 10: Search by Keyword
To find out what the Library owns on a particular topic, select Keyword in the Search by: box, and enter your keywords in the search field. You do not have to enter your search terms in any particular order.
Use the Keyword search to look throughout the entire bibliographic record for the terms or phrases you enter. For example, doing a Keyword search for the search term King will find books written by the author Stephen King, books about Martin Luther King, Jr., the film The King and I, and items from the publisher P.S. King & Son.

- You can search by Exact phrase by selecting yes below the Search by: search field
- Use the search methods discussed in tutorial 3 to enhance your keyword search
