Lesson 2: Domain Name
A domain name is the address of a website, also called a URL: Uniform Resource Locator. A domain name or Web address must be unique. The last three letters of a domain name indicate the type of organization sponsoring the website. Reviewing the last few letters of a Web address, and knowing what they mean, is one way to determine the credibility of a website. See explanations and examples below.
