Let’s Read A Book! Book Discussion at the Charlotte Campus Library

We will be discussing “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” by Rebecca Skloot at the Charlotte Campus Library on Tuesday, February 21 at 3:30 p.m. The discussion will be led by Professor Mary Garofolakis, whose passion for books and reading will stimulate our understanding of this important book. Jad Abumrad of NPR’s RadioLab described it this way: “Honestly, I can\'t imagine a better tale. A detective story that\'s at once mythically large and painfully intimate.” Students, faculty and staff are invited to the hour-long discussion.
