120 HOUR NURSING ASSISTANT COURSE
This course is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing in the Florida Department of Health. This course is designed for students to develop patient care skills for employment as nurse assistants in hospitals, clinics and nursing homes. Successful completion of the program prepares the student for the certification examination and employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing home. The program length of 120 hours is divided into 80 hours of theory and 40 hours of instructor-supervised clinical practice in the Lee County area. This course will begin on March 14th and end on May 4th. Cost of the course is $750 ($30 non-refundable fee) Textbooks and uniforms are not included.

COMPUTERS FOR BEGINNERS
This hands-on friendly and fun introductory class addresses what a computer is, what it can do for you, and how to accomplish basic tasks. Topics include computer terminology, managing files and folder, copying and pasting, installing and removing applications, customizing settings, printing and scanning, and more. Classes run for 4 sessions on Thursday evenings from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Class held on March 15 to April 5,cost is $99.

ACLS CERTIFICATION
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Certification is for healthcare professionals who respond to cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the hospital enhance their treatment knowledge and skills through the AHA’s ACLS training courses. The advanced cardiac life support course is designed for medical providers such as Physicians, Nurses (Students, LPN and RN’s), Paramedics (EMT Basics Welcome), Respiratory Therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency. This 2 day course will be held on Friday, March 16th from 3pm to 10pm and Saturday, March 17th from 9am to 3pm. Cost is $250.

STONE ART WORKSHOP
This one-day workshop is an exercise in the art form of sculpting using natural fibers.
