National Pi Day

The Euclidean Society (Edison State College's math club) invites you to help celebrate National Pi Day (3/14).
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Stop by the display set up by the Euclidean Society in the west lobby of Taeni Hall (Building S) to learn more about Pi and why this is called Pi Day.
10:00 a.m.: Join in the contest to see who can recite the decimal value of Pi to the most number of decimal places. The contest is open to all students, faculty and staff. First prize for the student winner is a $25 gift card to the Edison State College Bookstore, and second prize is a $15 gift card to the Bookstore. First prize for the faculty or staff winner is a Pi mug.
11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.: PICK UP YOUR OWN PIECE OF PI (pie) and A PI BUTTON TO WEAR THE REST OF THE DAY. [First come, first served.]
