Commencement Ceremony set for May 3

The 9th Annual Charlotte Campus Commencement Ceremony is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 3 at The Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center at 75 Taylor Road in Punta Gorda. Graduates are asked to assemble at The Event Center at 5:15 p.m.

You are eligible to participate in the Charlotte Campus Commencement Ceremony if you earned your degree in fall 2011 or will earn your degree in spring or summer 2012. If you have not already met with an Academic Advisor to conduct a degree audit and to register for commencement, please do so as soon as possible. Academic Advisors are available on a walk-in basis or by appointment Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment with an Academic Advisor, please call 941-637-5629.

Commencement Rehearsal will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 3 at The Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center. If you are planning to participate in the Ceremony, you are strongly encouraged to attend rehearsal. Rehearsal is your opportunity to make sure your name is pronounced correctly as you walk across the stage and to become familiar with your role in the Ceremony.

Tickets are not required for guests, so please invite your family and friends to help you celebrate your achievement.

You can purchase your cap and gown at the bookstore.
