SPANISH IS FUN – INTERMEDIATE
This Spanish Conversational course picks up where the beginners class ends. Classes run for 6 weeks on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm. Starts on April 24th to May 29th, cost is $165. Textbook not included.
SPANISH IS FUN – ADVANCED
The Advanced Class is directed towards gaining a greater competency in the spoken language. Classes run for 6 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm. Starts on April 25th – May 30th, cost is $165. Textbook not included.
SPANISH IS FUN FOR BEGINNERS
This Spanish conversational course will enable students to learn in a fun way. You will learn vocabulary, grammatical rules of Spanish, and how to employ both when speaking the language. You will learn gender, the conjugation of both regular and irregular verbs, and the reading and writing of simple sentences. Classes run for 6 weeks on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm. Starts on April 26th to May 31st, cost is $165. Textbook not included.
MAY:
ACT / SAT PREP WORKSHOP
Math, Verbal, Essay, and Testing Strategies are included in 20 hours of instruction, in this workshop taught by a well qualified, experienced instructor. Students will receive diagnostic results of their math pretests plus a breakdown of grammar skills, support materials, and home review materials that include tips. Classes are held on Saturdays from 8:30am to 2:30pm. It begins on May 5th and ends on May 26th, cost is $295. Textbook not included.
WATERCOLOR PAINTING FOR BEGINNERS
Always wanted to give it a try, but thought it was too hard? Forget all that! Your instructor, Phil Hilton, will have you creating credible paintings in just a few short weeks. In each of our small classes, you will see demonstrations and receive personal encouragement. Each class is designed to teach important and necessary techniques to expand and reinforce your confidence and ability in watercolor painting. Materials: Approx. $85.00 Per Student- Material list supplied at time of registration. This 6 week class will be held on Thursdays, May 10th to June 14th, from 6:00-9:00pm. Cost is $180.
MOVIE EDITING FOR BEGINNERS
Beginning students will learn both the artistic and technical elements of basic movie editing and cinematic storytelling. Students will learn a variety of editing and transition techniques, and attempt to replicate some of those techniques by assembling and editing movie footage using iMovie software. Upon completion of this course, students will be eligible for advanced editing courses in Final Cut Express and/or Final Cut Pro. Students must have Macintosh laptops with iMovie software and bring them to class each week. This 6 week class will be held on Fridays, May 18th to June 22nd, from 1:30-4:30pm. Cost is $260.
