National Library Week April 11 -16 |
Submitted 03/24/2011
National Library Week is a time set aside every year to recognize the importance of libraries in our lives. Academic and public libraries make a contribution to the lives of Americans, and this is the time to celebrate that contribution. We invite you to stop by the library for a piece of candy or a pencil during the week—our treat to you! On Monday, April 11, the popular sidewalk chalk returns for “I Love My Library!” Come to the sidewalk outside the Charlotte campus library and tell us about your favorite book or library!
