MICROSOFT WORD 2007
This class requires PC experience. This four session class is broken down into parts, Navigating through Microsoft Word 2007, Editing and Formatting a Document, Enhancing documents, and working with graphic objects. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings for 4 sessions beginning on March 30th to April 20th from 5pm to 8pm. The cost is $145. Students are asked to bring a flash drive to save their work.
ITALIAN FOR BEGINNERS
This course is designed for students with no previous knowledge of Italian. The instructional goal is to
develop basic vocabulary and understanding of the structure of the Italian language. The course will begin
with the review of the Italian sound system, and continue with basic vocabulary acquisition and grammar. The
instruction will focus on developing the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Classes run for 6 weeks on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm. Starts on March 31st – May 5th, cost is $145. textbook not included but available at our campus bookstore.
PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN
This program is designed for persons employed or those who plan to be employed by a licensed clinical laboratory or public health department. The course combines 48 hours of classroom instruction with a 100-hour off-site clinical externship coordinated by Boston Reed, to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience. Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning on April 5th – May 19th from 6pm to 9:30pm. The cost is $2,810., textbooks included.
ACCENT REDUCTION COURSE
Ever wonder what others think of your speech and voice? This course is custom designed for Spanish to English learners to enhance the clarity of their speech, vocal melody and expressiveness, and confidence in speaking to others. It is not a course to learn the language, but rather a course to learn to fine tune your speaking ability in American English. Class is limited to 12 students; each student receives an individual speech evaluation. Class is held on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 8pm for 5 weeks. April 5th – May 3rd, cost is $225 per person.
ARABIC LANGUAGE CLASS
This program gives the student an immediate speaking ability. More specifically, students will be able to learn the most practical words. They will be speaking useful sentence from the very first day. If you are planning a trip or moving to where Arabic is spoken, you will be leaps ahead of everyone if you take just a few minutes a day to learn the easy key words and phrases that this book offers. Classes run for 7 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 9pm. Starts on April 6th to May 18th, cost is $225. textbook is included.
