FACEBOOK FOR NON-PROFITS
If your non-profit doesn’t have a following in Facebook, your competitor most likely does! This two week course will help you or your designated employee create a professional presence on Facebook. We will teach you how to generate income by becoming a cause that people want to support! You will learn how to create ads, “causes” and groups of users to fuel your development. This class will be held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00am to 12:00 noon starting April 19th–28th, Cost is $180.
SPANISH IS FUN – ADVANCED
The Spanish is Fun Advanced Class is directed towards gaining a greater competency in the spoken language. Classes run 6 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm. Starts on April 20th – May 25th, cost is $165. textbook not included.
SPANISH IS FUN – INTERMEDIATE
This Spanish Conversational course picks up where the beginners class ends. Classes run for 6 weeks on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm. Starts on pril 19th – May 24th, cost is $165, textbook not included.
SPANISH IS FUN FOR BEGINNERS
This Spanish conversational course will enable students to learn in a fun way. You will learn vocabulary, grammatical rules of Spanish, and how to employ both when speaking the language. Classes run for 6 weeks on Thursday evenings 6pm to 8:30pm. Starts on April 21st – May 26th, cost is $165, textbook not included.
GERMAN 2
This course is designed for students with some previous knowledge of German no matter if you took it back in high school or more recently. We will focus on all language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The goal is to make the students more comfortable using their (almost) new language in the situations they encounter in everyday life. This 6 week class is held on Monday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm starting April 25th – June 6th. Cost is $145, textbook not included.
LIFE COACH CERTIFICATION – LEVEL 1
This course is packed with tools and skills, that will assist you in both your personal and/or professional life. Even if you don't want to become a life coach, anyone can take this course and shift into a whole new mindset with the knowledge and motivation used by the most successful life coaches to change your life. This 4 week class is held on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 9pm starting April 26th – May 17th. Call today to register! Cost is $425 to ESC students and faculty and $850 to all others (materials included).
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE
Over this 8 week course the instructor will cover Finger spelling, names, numbers, verbs, adjectives and much more. The class will be held on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm on April 28th to June 16th. Cost is $165 and class is limited to 10 students.
CPR- Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider
This one day course is geared towards the interests and needs of the health professions students and taught by healthcare professionals. It offers a two year certification at completion of the course, which is required for healthcare students and healthcare workers. Upon completion of the course, students will receive their AHA (American Heart Association) Card. Our next class runs from 3pm to 5pm on Friday, April 29th, cost is $70 and includes textbook.
ACCENT REDUCTION COURSE
Ever wonder what others think of your speech and voice? This course is custom designed for Spanish to English learners to enhance the clarity of their speech, vocal melody and expressiveness, and confidence in speaking to others. It is not a course to learn the language, but rather a course to learn to fine tune your speaking ability in American English. Class is limited to 12 students; each student receives an individual speech evaluation. Class is held on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 8pm for 5 weeks running May 3rd to 31st, cost is $225 per person.
