POETY WRITING FOR EVERYONE
The purpose of this class is to inspire students to write their own poetry. This class is open to both the experienced writer as well as the novice. Class meets August 22nd to October 17th on Monday’s form 9:00am to 10:30am. Cost is $140. Call for more details and what students are required to bring to class.
PRINCIPLES OF FINANCIAL PLANNING
This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts of the financial planning process, the economic environment, the time value of money, the legal environment, financial analysis, and ethical and professional considerations in financial planning. Our next class runs from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday evenings starting August 9th to October 11th. Cost is $695 (Does not include textbooks).
DRAWING I – LEARNING TO DRAW
This beginning drawing class will teach you to see your ideas and put them on paper. You will learn multiple techniques of contour drawing, perspective, depth perception, line drawing and much more. Our next class runs for 8 weeksTuesdays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm starting August 23rd to October 11th. Call for details and supply list. Cost is $180.00
ACTING WITH SCENE STUDY
Students will learn and participate in the fundamentals of Method Acting as developed and practiced at the Actors Studio in New York and Los Angeles. Participants will focus on developing a “truthful” inner life. Our next class will run for 8 weeks on Tuesdays from 5:00pm to 8:00pm starting August 23rd to October 11th. Cost is $260.00. Maximum of 10 students.
DRAWING II – THE NEXT STEP
In this advanced drawing course you will learn more about perspective, crosshatching, and line drawing. You will now begin to sharpen your skills as an artist and learn new techniques that will carry your skills to the next level. This class is held for 8 weeks on Wednesdays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm starting August 24th –October 12th. Cost is $180.00. Call for more details and supply list.
CREATIVE WRITING

MEMOIR WRITING FROM THE SOUL
The purpose of this class is to learn to write personal memoirs. This class is open to both the experienced writer as well as the novice. This 8 week session is held on Wednesdays from 10:00am to 11:30am starting August 24th – October 12th. Call today to register and to obtain a supply list. Cost is $140.00
COMPUTER FOR BEGINNERS – LEVEL 2
This hands-on friendly and fun class will take you to the next level on what your computer can do. Windows XP will be used in the class, but most concepts will apply to various operating systems. This course is for those that have completed the first level of Computers for Beginners. This course consists of 4 sessions held on Thursday evenings from 5:00pm to 7:00pm starting August 25th – September 15th. Cost is $99.00.
ITALIAN FOR BEGINNERS
This course is designed for students with no previous knowledge of Italian. The instructional goal is to
develop basic vocabulary and understanding of the structure of the Italian language. Classes run for 6 weeks on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm. Starts on August 25th – September 29th, cost is $145. textbook not included.
JEWELRY METALSMITHING FOR BEGINNERS
Beginners will learn the basic techniques of metalsmithing and jewelry design including layout, sawing, piercing, filing, soldering and finishing. Becoming proficient in these skills. is essential to the creation of well-made jewelry.
