PRINCIPLES OF FINANCIAL PLANNING
This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts of the financial planning process, the economic environment, the time value of money, the legal environment, financial analysis, and ethical and professional considerations in financial planning. Our next class runs from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday evenings starting August 9th to October 11th. Cost is $695 (Does not include textbooks).

COMPUTER FOR BEGINNERS – LEVEL 2
This hands-on friendly and fun class will take you to the next level on what your computer can do. Windows XP will be used in the class, but most concepts will apply to various operating systems. This course is for those that have completed the first level of Computers for Beginners. This course consists of 4 sessions held on Thursday evenings from 5:00pm to 7:00pm starting August 25th – September 15th. Cost is $99.00.

JEWELRY METALSMITHING FOR BEGINNERS
Beginners will learn the basic techniques of Metalsmithing and jewelry design including layout, sawing, piercing, filing, soldering and finishing. Becoming proficient in these skills is essential to the creation of well-made jewelry. This 6 week course is held on Thursdays at 10:00am to 1:00pm or 6:00pm to 9:00pm starting August 25th – September 29th. Cost is $140.00.

OPHTHALMOLOGY ASSISTANT
This course will provide student with a basic understanding of the Ophthalmic profession and the skills required to perform common tasks and procedures in the modern Ophthalmology practice and be a valued member of the Ophthalmic practice. This 17 week course is held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30pm to 8:30pm starting August 30th – December 15th. Cost is $1,050.00, textbooks not included.

DRAWING FUNDAMENTAL-COLORED PENCIL
Learn the fundamentals of color theory, as we learn to mix colors, learn value contrasts, intensity contrasts, temperature contrasts, arranging compositions, and experiment with possible techniques to understand the
foundations of making art. This 6 week course is held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm starting August 30th – October 4th. Cost is $180.

INTRO TO FIGURE DRAWING
If you are an individual desiring learning how draw the human form or have curiosities wishing to hone your skills of observation, then this is the class for you. This 6 week course is held on Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm starting September 1st - October 6th. Cost is $180, call today to obtain the material list.

GLASS BEADMAKING FOR BEGINNERS
To make glass beads, the students will learn how to melt small rods of glass in the flame of a torch. Every week the instructor will demo a bead technique or bead design. The student will have the rest of the class time to practice these techniques and incorporate them into their own bead designs. This 6 week course is held on Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm starting September 1st - October 6th. Cost is $140.

ACT / SAT PREP WORKSHOP
Math, Verbal, Essay, and Testing Strategies are included in 20 hours of instruction, in this workshop taught by a well qualified, experienced instructor. Students will receive diagnostic results of their math pretests plus a breakdown of grammar skills, support materials, and home review materials that include tips. Classes are held on Saturdays from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Next class starts on September 9th – 24th, cost is $295.

MS EXCEL 2007 – PART 1
Class will offer a hands-on introduction to Excel. We will focus on creating spreadsheets using the following topics as a guideline, Editing and Formatting, Using of Basic Formulas, Printing spreadsheets, saving your work. This course consists of 2 classes held on Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 8pm. Cost is $80. Our next class runs on September 7th & 14th.
