College Kick Off - Fall Open House for High School Students |

On Monday, October 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Office of Student Recruitment on the Lee Campus will host a fall open house. This event, which will be marketed to high school juniors and seniors in Lee County, is designed to help future students learn about the academic programs, offerings, services, and student/residence life opportunities available at Edison State College. Lee County Public Schools are not in session on this date, so we thought it would be a good time to hold a fun, yet informational event to assist students as they consider their options after high school. The exhibitors and activities at the Open House will not be limited to prospective students, so we believe the event will also serve as a valuable resource for educating current students on all the college has to offer.
To ensure a successful event, we need your support and assistance. We will have an exhibition area outside of Taeni Hall with information tables and displays for programs of study, clubs and organizations, student and support services, and other groups that may be of interest to current and future students. Please share the date with appropriate faculty and staff contacts for the different program areas, club sponsors, etc. Those contacts should send the name(s) of the individuals, programs and/or organizations interested in participating by the close of business on Friday, September 23. Additional information and details about the event will be provided to those participating shortly after this deadline.
