GLASS FUSING WORKSHOP
Glass Fusing also called kiln‐formed glass offers an outlet for creativity; for those who are artistically blessed as well as those who are artistically challenged. As Petra always says: "Glass is difficult to mess up". You will be able to create anything from functional to expressive from Jewelry to Sculpture, from Table Ware to Wall Art ‐nearly everything is possible in the craft of glass fusing. This course meets on Fridays from 10am to 1pm starting September 30 – October 28. Cost is $160.
ACT / SAT PREP WORKSHOP
Math, Verbal, Essay, and Testing Strategies are included in 20 hours of instruction, in this workshop taught by a well qualified, experienced instructor. Students will receive diagnostic results of their math pretests plus a breakdown of grammar skills, support materials, and home review materials that include tips. Classes are held on Saturdays from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Next class starts on October 1st to 22nd, cost is $295. Textbook not included.
PUBLIC SPEAKING & COMMUNICATION CERTIFICATION

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR CS4
The Adobe Illustrator course will give you the basics as well as the opportunity to develop further skills and become proficient at using this powerful layout program. Adobe® Illustrator® CS4 software is a comprehensive vector graphics environment with new transparency in gradients and multiple artboards that invite you to explore more efficient ways to design. This class meets for 4 sessions on Monday evenings starting October 3rd to 24th from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Cost is $350.
PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN
This program is designed for persons employed or those who plan to be employed by a licensed clinical laboratory or public health department. The course combines 48 hours of classroom instruction with a 100-hour off-site clinical externship coordinated by Boston Reed, to provide students with a comprehensive learning experience. Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning on October 4 to November 17 from 6pm to 9:30pm. The cost is $2,810.00, textbooks included.
PHARMACY TRAINING PROGRAM W/EXTERNSHIP
This is a Florida Board of Pharmacy State Approved program offered in partnership between the University of Florida and Edison State College. This course is designed to prepare the participant for eligibility to become a Pharmacy Technician. In addition, participants will be qualified to apply for certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and will meet the training requirements of the State Board of Pharmacy. This 14 week course combines 84 hours of classroom instruction with 80-hour externship to provide you with a complete learning experience provided directly through Edison State College. The next class begins October 3rd to January 26, 2012 and will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm. Cost is $3,900.00.
