Fall 2011 Graduation and Commencement Information

The Fall Commencement Ceremony for ALL Edison State students from ALL Edison State Campuses and Centers will be held Friday, December 9th at 3:00 p.m. and at 7:00 p.m. in Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall. Seats for the commencement ceremony are first come first served. We encourage students to apply as soon as possible if they would like to participate in the ceremony.


Graduation is the term we use to refer to the actual completion of your degree. Students must meet with an academic advisor and must apply to graduate (receive an official diploma). Applications are due to the Office of the Registrar no later than October 20th.

Commencement is the term we use to refer to the graduation ceremony where students walk across the stage.

All students from all Edison State Campuses and Centers who plan to complete their degree this semester are eligible to participate in this commencement ceremony. There is no additional cost to participate in the commencement ceremony, although students will need to purchase a cap and gown from the Edison State College bookstore to walk at the ceremony.
