Port Charlotte SCORE in partnership with Edison State College is offering the workshop “Simple Steps for Growing your Business” providing small business owners the tools to switch strategies from start-up mode to growth mode. These eight sessions begin Thursday, October 20th and will be at the Mid-County Library in Port Charlotte on Thursdays from 5 to 7:00PM. These eight, three-hour sessions begin on Saturday, October 22nd at Edison State College, Charlotte Campus weekly at 9:00 AM. SCORE has launched the Veterans Fast Launch Initiative with the White House, helping Veterans and their families start and grow small business. These programs provide free mentoring and training to military personnel and their family members. Veterans can obtain scholarships to attend Port Charlotte SCORE and Edison State College workshops “Simple Steps for Growing your Business (Oct. 20) and “Simple Steps for Starting Your Business” (Oct. 22).
