About New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is the start and the launching pad to your journey here at Edison State College. Orientation is facilitated by Student Service staff and student leaders in coordination with faculty, staff, and administrators who represent various departments across the college to welcome new students to campus.

Orientation is an interactive, informative, and exciting experience designed to initiate and integrate students into the community of Edison State College and provide students with information about the multitude of resources and opportunities available to them as new Edison State College students.

All new students are required to participate in an Orientation session before registering for their semester of classes.

You are ready to attend a new student orientation session when these steps are complete:

  1. Apply to Edison State and submit the application fee.
  2. Transcripts – You must submit your high school or GED transcripts as well as transcripts from ALL colleges previously attended. Click here for additional information about how to request and submit transcripts to ESC.
