A Perkins Grant-funded program with a mission to help single, pregnant women and single parents (with custody of minor children) enrolled in Associate of Science core courses to gain marketable skills and attain self-sufficiency through vocational training.
Services Offered:
- Scholarships to be used for tuition, travel and educational costs
- Career advising
- Community referrals
- Workshops and information about life management and study skills
Eligible Students Must Be:
- Presently enrolled in Edison College majoring in an A.S. Degree or Certificate Program and taking core classes stated in the college catalog for the appropriate major
- Have completed all learning assistance, English and general education classes as stated in the catalog.
- Have completed one semester and maintained a GPA of 2.00 or better
- Must qualify for financial assistance – be eligible for Pell Grant and/or other forms of financial aid.
