Amy Teprovich has recently joined Edison State College as the District Director of Student Life.  Originally, she hails from the snowy north - Buffalo, New York to be exact…home of the chicken wing!  Her undergraduate work was in Math (scary!) and she received her Master’s degree in Education Administration, both at Canisius College.  Amy has worked at several colleges in both Student Activities and Residence Life roles, which she finds very rewarding.  In the few moments of spare time she finds, Amy enjoys traveling, reading, and eating good food.

Patty keeps things running smoothly in the Office of Student Life, and she’s likely to be the first smiling face you see when stopping by our Lee Campus office in S-101.  Patty has been an asset to Edison State College for several years; she knows this campus backwards and forwards, and she’ll be more than happy to help you when you call or stop by!

Adam Elias, Student Life Specialist, Lee Campus

Adam is the Student Life Specialist at Edison State College’s Lee Campus.  A Kentucky native, Adam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Human Development & Leadership, both from Murray State University, where he worked with students as an ESL instructor and in the Baptist Campus Ministry.  At Lee Campus, Adam coordinates student activities and acts as club guru, in addition to advising SGA and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.  In his free time, Adam enjoys writing, traveling and backpacking, spending time with his wife, and solving the world’s problems over tall cups of coffee.

Ali Bender, Student Life Specialist, Charlotte Campus

Ali is the Student Life Specialist at Edison State College’s Charlotte Campus.  Ali earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and her Master of Arts in Education from The College of William and Mary.  She started with the Charlotte campus of Edison State College in September 2008 as the Student Life Specialist, overseeing all student activities on that campus.  In her free time, Ali enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, and exercising (especially running fun races).  She has a large extended family that lives all over the US and Canada, and she is proud to be half Canadian and a dual citizen.  She and her husband live in Punta Gorda. 

Sue Buntic, Student Life Specialist, Collier Campus

Sue is the Student Life Specialist at Edison State College’s Collier Campus.  An Edison alum, Sue rejoined the Edison family in 2004 after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Florida Gulf Coast University.  At Collier Campus, Sue wears many hats: she coordinates student activities, clubs and organizations, manages the Welcome Center, serves as the SGA advisor and co-advisor to the Multicultural Club, and coordinates the Collier Project HOPE Scholarship program.  She is currently enrolled in graduate school at Hodges University to earn her Masters in Professional Studies.
