The ideal student for this program wants to pursue advanced study in the field of Legal Studies, and chooses to take classes either on the FGCU campus, via the Internet, or a combination of both.

  • Your AA degree or AS degree in Criminal Justice or Paralegal Studies from Edison College allows for transfer of up to 72 credits toward the bachelor's degree

The ideal student for this program has an Associate in Science degree in Paralegal Studies, is seeking a bachelor's degree for advancement or as preparation for law school, prefers classroom learning with evening classes, can manage fast-paced courses, and wants to complete a degree in a specified time frame. 

  • Your associate degree from Edison College qualifies you for a $100 per credit scholarship toward courses in the major through Hodges University
  • Up to 80 credits from Edison College may be transferred to meet degree requirements
  • Eligible students receive the Florida Resident Access grant (not income-based)
  • Legal Studies major completed in one year plus senior seminar in the "wheel" program
  • Classes held on Edison College campuses
