Each academic year ECHS will welcome a new 100-member ninth-grade class. Prospective students should attend an information session with their parent(s) or guardian(s) prior to submitting an application.
If you are interested in applying to ECHS-Charlotte for the 2013-2014 school year you must attend an information session on one of the following nights; January 22, February 7, or February 20. All information sessions are held at 6pm in the ECHS-Charlotte cafeteria. If you would like more information please call ECHS-Charlotte at 941-637-5673.
To be eligible students must be certified by their middle school as ready to advance to the ninth grade. There is no GPA requirement or test score requirement. If chosen in the lottery, students must submit their latest FCAT scores, last report card, and the documents below.

According to Florida Statutes, each class is selected by a random lottery. Applicants not selected for admission will be placed on a waiting list for consideration should space become available.
We are currently accepting applications for the class of 2015.Students should have a 3.0 GPA.

Class of 2017 applicants have been notified by phone. Official letters will be mailed March 11.
There are no spots available for the class of 2013 and 2014.
The class of 2016 is full. The wait list for the Class of 2016 is 95 students long. Although the Class of 2016 is full, we are accepting students on the wait list for spring semester.
