  • QEP Planning Committee provides progress report during Professional Development Days
  • Leadership Team identifies potential QEP reviewers
  • QEP Coordinator contacts potential QEP reviewers
  • Accreditation Leadership Team submits to SACSCOC the names of individuals confirmed to serve as QEP reviewers
  • QEP Planning Committee reviews initial draft of QEP (February)


Summer 2011

  • QEP Planning Committee submits draft to College community for comment (August)


Fall 2011

  • QEP Planning Committee submits draft to College community for comment (August)
  • QEP document submitted to SACSCOC (six weeks before Sept visit)
  • On-Site Review Committee conducts visit (November) and gives two recommendations for improvement.
  • ESC representatives attend SACSCOC Annual Meeting (December)


Spring 2012

  • The QEP Implementation team and the QEP Subcommittees, including faculty, staff and administrators, continue to meet to support the initial implementation of the SLS 1515 course.
  • QEP Implementation Team and SLS 1515 Lead Faculty revise QEP based on SACSCOC Recommendations and input from subcommittees.    
  • A total of sixteen sections of SLS 1515 run on Lee, Collier, and Charlotte Campus and the Hendry/Glades Center.
  • Initial assessment data is collected to include qualitative and quantitative measures of achievement.
  • SLS 1515 student focus group sessions are held on Lee, Collier, and Charlotte Campus and the Hendry/Glades Center.


Summer 2012

  • The QEP Implementation team and the QEP Subcommittees, including faculty, staff and administrators, continue to meet to support the initial implementation of the SLS 1515 course.
  • SACSCOC BOT reviews the revised QEP.  The SACSCOC BOT removes the recommendations.
  • The College hires a full-time lead faculty for the SLS 1515 course.
  • The College hires a full-time First-Year Experience Coordinator.
  • The QEP Assessment Subcommittee, the QEP Implementation Team, and the QEP Advisory Committee review the Spring 2012 Assessment Data (direct and indirect measures of achievement of QEP goals). The results of assessment inform revisions and improvements for “Year 1” (2012-2013) implementation.
  • Spring 2012 Assessment Data (actual results and use of results) are reported in the QEP Unit Plans.  2012-2013 unit plans goals are
  • established.
  • A total of eleven sections of SLS 1515 run on Lee, Collier, and Charlotte Campus and the Hendry/Glades Center.
  • QEP Cornerstone Instructor Module Trainings are held on all campuses and the Hendry/Glades Center.
  • QEP Update Sessions are held for Student Services Personnel.


Fall 2012

  • The QEP Implementation team and the QEP Subcommittees including faculty, staff and administrators continue to meet to support the initial implementation of the SLS 1515 course.
  • A QEP Update session is held on Lee Campus during Professional Development Days.
  • A total of thirty sections of SLS 1515 run on Lee, Collier, and Charlotte Campus and the Hendry/Glades Center.
  • Peer Architect (peer mentoring) program is implemented on all campuses and the Hendry/Glades Center.
  • The QEP Implementation Team Leaders provide a QEP Workshop to the College’s Board of Trustees. (September)
  • QEP Cornerstone Instructor Module Trainings are scheduled on all campuses and the Hendry/Glades Center.
  • “Year 1” assessment data is collected, including qualitative and quantitative measures of achievement.
