Edison State College, Lee Campus will be tobacco-free on May 17, 2010.
Edison State College is dedicated to promoting an environment of overall wellness for each person who attends or visits our beautiful campus. We are invested in academic achievement and developing life skills that promote wellness ideals.
Edison State’s tobacco-free policy applies to all students, staff, faculty, contractors, vendors and visitors. The policy applies to the entire Edison State College campus - indoor facilities, campus grounds, walkways and parking lots. The policy applies to both lighted and smokeless tobacco products.
Edison State College understands the process of achieving a 100 percent tobacco-free environment will take time and patience. All staff, students and faculty members share the responsibility of creating a courteous atmosphere of self-enforcement. The ultimate success of this policy depends upon the courtesy, respect, and cooperation of users and non-users of tobacco products.
